ISSS-8 Conference Location:

The ISSS-8 conference will be held at the Hilton Kauai Beach Resort, located at 4331 Kauai Beach Drive Lihue, HI 96766; Toll free 1-888-805-3843; FAX: (808) 245-3956.

Directions from the Lihue Airport: When exiting the airport, turn right on Kapule Highway 51. The highway name will change to Kuhio Highway 56 at the next traffic light. Continue going straight. Turn right at the Kauai Beach Hotel and Resort.

The resort is currently the Kauai Beach Hotel and Resort but it will change to the Hilton Kauai Beach Resort on November 1st, 2006.

ISSS-8 Hotels:

There are two conference hotels: the Hilton Kauai Beach Resort (Kauai Beach Hotel and Resort until 11/1/2006) and the Aloha Beach Resort.

The two hotels are separated by about 2.5 miles along the Kuhio Highway (Hwy 56). A free shuttle will be available between the two hotels at the start and the end of the sessions.
